Plane descent timelapse
Judges watching planes descend at a 1970s international competition for the design of paper planes
Descent
The installation Throw Hard and High featured digital photographs printed into a large variety of paper planes.
The images embedded in the paper planes represent the act of falling both physically and metaphorically, analogising the fall of the plane itself.
The title of the installation comes from a paper plane in a 1970s international competition for the design of paper planes. The instruction with the plane was to ’Throw High and Hard’.
