You breathe in and the world breathes out
The world breathes out and you breath in
Know that you breathe in
Know that you breathe out

You breathe in and the world breathes out
The world breathes out and you breath in
Know that you breathe in
Know that you breathe out
I observed this field, these trees, the sky.
I watched without camera this field, these wood chips, the marking.
The light and colour of Monet’s haystacks was ever present in my mind (his paintings digitally resampled in some of the final images). Equally, the destruction of our natural environment due to the expansion of suburbia.
When time told me I walked the field boots caked in mud – even the light was emotional.
Previsualisation was strong and full frame film negatives emerged, bathed in the diffused light of recognition, of earth.
